Improve your game with the help of a Top 100 golf instructor: Shawn Callahan
Shawn Callahan, a GOLF Magazine Top 100 instructor each of the last four years, will be available at Lacoma Golf for group and individual golf lessons from mid-July through the end of August.
Shawn has 32 years of golf instruction experience, including 24 years as part of Butch Harmon’s team in Las Vegas. His career highlights include:
- Over 32 years of golf instruction experience, much of which was spent teaching with and learning from legendary instructors including Butch Harmon, Mac O’Grady, and Mike Adams.
- Assisted Butch Harmon in the instruction of elite touring professionals, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Gary Woodland, Stewart Cink, and José María Olazábal.
- Provided primary instruction to elite tour players, including Charley Hoffman, Craig and Kevin Stadler, Inbee Park, Se Ri Pak, and Hannah O’Sullivan.

Clinics for Intermediate Players
In intermediate clinics, Shawn will offer small group instruction, limited to four players per group, to golfers with established golf swings who seek to fine tune their golf game in the full swing, chipping, and putting. Shawn will provide individualized instruction to each player during each session.
The clinic will consist of three, one-hour sessions for small groups held on consecutive dates at the same time.

Sharpen Your Skills Team Clinics
Shawn will join forces with Lacoma’s own Paula Ketchum, an instructor with 35-plus years of experience, to present the Sharpen Your Skills clinic. These clinics provide small group instruction, limited to six players, to golfers of all skill levels. Each session will focus on one element of golf, including full swing, chipping, and putting.
The clinic will consist of three, one-hour sessions for small groups held on consecutive dates at the same time.
