Independence Day Best Shots

Looking for a fun way to spend your Independence Day holiday?  Lacoma Golf will stage separate Independence Day Best Shots events each day of Independence Day weekend. for a total of four days of Team Golfing fun.  The Independence Day Best Shots on Saturday and Sunday will be traditional four player events.  On Monday, Lacoma will stage a Red, White and Blue best shot and to cap off the Holiday weekend, we’ll stage a 6-6-6 Best Shot .  The venue for each event will be our premier 18 hole Blue course with tee times starting at 8:00 AM.  The total entry cost for these events is $54 ($15 plus cart fees for members).  This includes green fees, cart fees, prizes and a skins game.  All events will be played in the four-player best shot (scramble) format.

Sign-up will be available one month prior to the event start date, so get your team together and, when the time comes, call (815) 747-3874 to reserve your tee time!

EVENT DETAILS

Time/Date:  Saturday through Tuesday, July 1 – July 4.  Tee times from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Format:  18 hole best shots with a different format each day (see below for details)

Venue:  Lacoma’s Blue Course

Cost:  $51 per player entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, prizes, and skins game.

FORMAT DETAILS

Saturday, July 1 – Conventional Four Player Best Shot

Sunday, July 2 –Conventional Four Player Best Shot

Monday, July 3 – Red, White and Blue Four Player Best Shot\

All Teams play from the same tees on each hole of the round.  The first six holes are played from the Red tees, the second six holes from the White tees and the final six from the Blue tees.  

Tuesday, July 4 – 6-6-6 Best Shot

All team members play from the same tee on each hole with teams choosing which tee they will play (Red, White or Blue). However, each team must play each tee color six times during the course of the 18 hole round.
