Lacoma Golf Independence Day Events

Looking for a fun way to spend your Independence Day holiday?  Lacoma Golf will stage separate Team Golf events each day of Independence Day weekend.  Each of these golf events will be staged on our premier 18 hole Blue course with tee times starting at 8:00 AM.  The total entry cost for these events is $49 ($15 plus cart fees for members).  This includes green fees, cart fees, and prizes.  All events will be played in the four-player best shot (scramble) format.  Get your team together and sign up today!

EVENT DETAILS

Time/Date:  Saturday through Monday, July 3 – July 5.  Tee times from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Format:  18 hole best shots with a different format each day (see below for details)

Venue:  Lacoma’s Blue Course

Cost:  $49 per player entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, prizes, and skins game.

FORMAT DETAILS

Saturday, July 3 – Conventional Four Player Best Shot.

Sunday, July 4 – Four Player Step Back Best Shot.   In this four-player best shot format, each team plays from the Red tees on the first hole.  If the team makes a birdie or better on that hole, they “step back” to the White tees on the second hole.   For the remainder of the front nine, birdie or better scores result in the team stepping back to the next hardest tee.  Par will allow you to remain on your current tee box while bogey+ allows you to move up a tee box on the next hole. Play resets at hole 10 and the process is followed again on the back nine.  Mercifully, at Lacoma, you can’t step back further than the Blue tees. 

Monday, July 5 – Conventional Two Player Best Shot.
