Devil Ball Best Shot

Join Lacoma for our annual Devil Ball Best Shot on Sunday, July 14! This devilishly fun and strategic Team Golf event features a combination of individual and team golf play.

On each hole of the Devil Ball Best Shot, one player plays the Devil Ball, solo. The remaining golfers play in the three player best shot (scramble) format. The team combines the Devil Ball and Best Shot scores for each hole. Each team member must play the Devil Ball on a minimum of four holes so there’s loads of strategy in picking the best Devil Ball player for each hole. And Lacoma awards prizes by flight, so everyone has a chance to score a win !

Tee Times: 8 AM to 2 PM

Junior-Adult Best Shot

Join Lacoma for our Junior-Adult Best Shot! This junior and family friendly event allows you to play a relaxing round of golf with a young golfer in your life.

Lacoma’s Junior-Adult Best Shot will be played in the two-player best shot format with teams consisting of one adult and one junior (17 and under) golfer. Team members need not be related so you can play with any junior golfer you know. The event will be played over nine holes on Lacoma’s fun and forgiving Red course on Sunday, June 9th. The $55 per team entry fee includes green fees, cart fees and prizes. Season pass holders pay $15 per team plus applicable cart fees, And Lacoma awards prizes by flight, so everyone has a chance to score a win!

Lacoma Junior-Adult Best Shot Event Details

Venue: Lacoma Golf Red Course
Format: 9 hole, 2 player best shot
Tee Times: 9 AM to 11:30 AM, Sunday, June 9th

Blue Course Big Cup Best Shot

Our second Big Cup best shot golf event of the Spring will be staged on our premier Blue course. We will stage two separate four-player Big Cup events on Saturday, April 27th, and Sunday, April 28th. In this format, our large, putter-friendly 8” Big Cups are offset by challenging hole locations on the green. This event will be our final Big Cup event until Fall, so assemble your team now!

Big Cup Best Cup events are flighted so everyone has a chance to win!

Venue: Blue course

Timing: April 27 & 28 via tee times starting at 8 AM.

Format: 18 hole, four player best shot using 8″ cups

Fees: $57 per player for green, cart, event and skin game fees (members pay $15 plus applicable cart fees).

Labor Day Weekend Best Shot Golf

Autumn golf approaches and to kick off the Fall golf season Lacoma will stage a full slate of fun, best shot golf events each day of Labor Day weekend. Each of these events will be staged on our premier, 18 hole Blue course with tee times starting at 8:00 AM. The total entry cost for these events is $54 per player ($15 plus cart fees for members) and this includes green fees, cart fees, and prizes. Prizes are awarded by flight so everyone has a chance to win!

Event Details

Formats: 18 hole best events with a different format each day (details below)

Venue: Lacoma’s Blue Course

Timing: Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Sep 2 through Sep 4 with tee times from 8 AM to 2 PM

Cost: $54 per player. Passholders pay $15 plus applicable cart fees.

Vintage Best Shot:

This Vintage Best Shot represents a though back to a bygone era, an era before GPS enabled range finders, hybrid clubs and…drivers with metal heads. In this event, GPS devices and laser range finders, hybrid clubs, and wedges lofted more than 56 degrees are prohibited. Additionally, each player must play the first tee shot of the event with a vintage driver (luckily, Lacoma has a few such clubs in stock and will supply them at no additional cost). All players who dress in vintage golf apparel, receive one mulligan per round and the best vintage-ly dressed player will receive a prize,
